This was the first year Holmes County Emergency Medical Services participated in The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Betty Scott, EMS Administrative Assistant, was this year's Team Captain with EMS Director, Greg Barton as Co-Captain.
Due to the enthusiasm of the Holmes County EMS Employees we won the Spirit of Relay Trophy and raised over $500.00 for the American Cancer Society.
Homes County Emergency Medical Services has started raising funds for 2013 Relay for Life and hopes the Community will support our efforts.
New Car Donated to the Holmes County EMS by the Columbia County Sheriff's Department.

This SUV was eastbound, hydroplaned, came across the median and made contact with the tractor trailer that was westbound. The tractor trailer pushed the SUV back into the median before coming to rest across the median. One patient was extricated from the driver's seat of the SUV by Bonifay Fire-Rescue and transported by Holmes Co. EMS.
